Homemade Superfood Smoothie!

So it’s totally official, Australian Spring is here! It was a sweltering 31 degrees today in Sydney but it didn’t stop Isabelle, Phoebie (our dog) and I going for a long hour and a half walk. However when we got back we were all beat! Isabelle had a feed, Phoebie had some water and I was starving! I had already had lunch and it was too early for dinner but I needed something so I thought I’d get creative in the kitchen and make a ‘Homemade Superfood Smoothie.’

Smoothies seem to be all the rage at the moment and I have to admit I do love a good smoothie. I’ve been seeing them everywhere which has been inspiring me to start making them at home so I dug out whatever was in the cupboard and this is what I came up with… Easy, tasty and SUPER good for you!  The hardest part is cleaning the blender 🙂

Ingredients –

1 Tablespoon Juice Plus Complete Powder

1 Tablespoon Goji Berries

1 Tablespoon Acai powder 

1 Tablespoon Raw Organic Cacao

1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds

1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil

Half a glass Almond milk

Half a glass filtered water

Method –

Combine all the ingredients together in a blender and pour! YUM!
