Veruska: Thank you Aimee Angelique for these lovely beauty, makeup and style questions, I had a ball answering them!
I only use non-animal tested, cruelty-free products from ethical companies. The products recommended in this interview are listed below.
Masquerade luminising loose powder in ‘moon’. Perfect for no-fuss highlighting!
Illamasqua (You can buy at selected Myer counters in Australia, or Myer online)
- Hydra Veil rehydrating gel, the ultimate makeup base, suited to all skin types.
- Skin Base foundation, fantastic foundation, great for all skin types and comes in a massive variety of shades!
- Mascara, two coats and you have some serious lashes! No flaking, no smudging, no panda eyes yet it removes easily when you want it to.
Body Spritz International crystal wash, I swear by this wash! Soap free, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, it normalises all skin types whether your extremely oily and blemished or super dry and flakey, this wash is the one! For some reason this product isn’t on their website but I’m sure if you enquired they could help! Also available from the Burleigh Farmers Markets on the Gold Coast (held each Saturday).
Sukin organic cold-pressed rose-hip oil- excellent and nourishing for all skin types.
Saavy white eyeliner- available in most Pricelines
Click here for the link to my highlighting tutorial, I’ll show you the areas to highlight on your face and how to do it in order to achieve a radiant, glowing complexion!
To make the bicarb scrub (that I can’t speak highly enough of) mix ½ teaspoon of Body Spritz international crystal wash (or ½ teaspoon of any water-based face wash) with ½ teaspoon of bicarb soda. Simple!
I love Jute dry face brushes. One of the most efficient ways to rejuvenate your complexion. Sadly I’ve misplaced my brush and am having withdrawals!
Peace & Love Veruska xox
